What if famous branding visuals in beer packaging

What If?

The Concept

How do established, world-class brands maintain their core soul when entering an entirely different product category? This speculative study explores the intersection of iconic brand identity and premium beverage packaging.

The objective was to move beyond simple logo placement and perform a deep visual translation of brand personality.

The Strategy

I deconstructed the visual languages of global icons—Nike, Apple, Gucci, and Coca-Cola—and re-engineered them to suit the textures, materials, and tonal requirements of the craft beer industry.

The goal was to create a "what if" scenario that felt both unexpected and inevitable.

01
Brand Deconstruction

Identifying core brand DNA.

I began by analyzing the primary visual drivers for each brand: Nike's kinetic energy, Apple's minimalism, and Gucci's luxury cues. This ensured the reimagining was based on strategic identity rather than surface-level parody.

02
Visual Translation

Mapping traits to new categories.

I translated these traits into the beverage space by selecting specific color palettes, typographic weights, and material textures that aligned with each brand's perceived "taste" and market position.

03
Packaging Concepting

Designing for the product surface.

I treated the beverage container as a primary brand touchpoint. The layout, typography, and label placement were engineered to ensure the identity felt integrated into the physical product experience.

04
Campaign Strategy

Creating scroll-stopping moments.

To complete the study, I developed high-fidelity mockups that functioned as social-first campaign assets, testing how these reimagined brands would command attention in a digital-first advertisement landscape.

05
The Result

A study in brand versatility.

The final outcome demonstrates how powerful brand equity can be leveraged to traverse unconventional categories through thoughtful, strategic visual translation.

05 / Reflection

A powerful campaign isn't just a clever idea; it's the ability to make that idea feel inevitable within a new context. This project strengthened my ability to deconstruct brand DNA and rebuild it for new markets.
