I care about the moment someone opens a product for the first time — what they see, what they're unsure about, and what makes them stay.
I'm Aashutosh — most people call me Ash. I have a degree in graphic design, but the interest in interfaces came earlier and from somewhere else: I taught myself by taking products I used every day and asking why certain screens felt easy and others didn't.
That habit turned into personal case studies — picking a real product, finding a real friction point, and redesigning it properly: research, flows, UI, and a clear before/after. The Chess.com project below is the first one I'm sharing publicly.
I'm early in my career and building in the open. Outside of design: a lot of chess, more gaming than I'll admit to, and long walks where most of my best layout ideas actually happen.

Currently taking on new projects for Q3 2026 onwards.
I work with a small number of clients at a time — which means your project gets my full attention, not a junior's first draft.
